Ken Hantman
Ken was one of six fence contractors in the world with voting privilegeson ASTM’s Fencing Subcommittee. He has won national awards for fence designs and has done expert witness work on fencing including specifications and designs for security in PA, NJ and DE. He has lectured and been published nationally on fencing design, security and liability reduction. He was recognized in Public Works Magazine and received special commendation from The Commonwealth of Penna. In addition to his fence business he had a security business and he authored the Wikipedia article on artificial intelligence surveillance systems. He holds three U.S. utility patents with a fourth pending.
Ken advised at prisons, military bases, industry and secure federal facilities. His designs are based on ASTM field studies and government commissioned engineering studies which cost $500,000, as well as his own innovations and attention to details which some architects have adopted as standard practice over the years.

I am a senior project manager for Kadean Construction. I had the pleasure of working with Ken Hantman on our FedEx Fairless Hills PA project which had approximately 10,000’ of fencing as well as Tymetal gates and entry systems as well as interior cages.
Ken served New Holland Chain Link LLC as their estimator and basically project manager. He was our point of contact for any issues and for all change orders needed. He was consistently reliable, promptly responsive, and fair and got things done.

When we built the UPS Distribution Center in Middletown PA, Ken Hantman was the project manager and estimator for New Holland Chain Link. They all did an excellent job of the fencing and the exterior soundwall (about $750,000 total). Ken also brought us an excellent ornamental iron contractor Iron Art & Design for about $750,000 of that work. We also had a couple incidental things we needed and he found us contractors for those.
All emails and phone calls were returned right away. All change orders were approved by the owner. They worked with us in every way. We were very pleased.
Ken’s knowledge of fencing was impressive. I’d recommend him to any industrial/commercial fence contractor. He was an honest, straightforward guy.
